Covid-19 Deaths in the U.S. through June 30, 2020, as reported, is under 130,000.
The CDC, on their own web page, https://www.cdc.gov/flu/vaccines-work/vaccineeffect.htm claims that the vaccine for flu (likely nearest relative to Coronavirus) is between 40% to 60% effective.

Perspective on the above: We are likely not nearly as bad off as indicated by the reporting from the main stream media.
